1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They're used so the site can "remember" information about your visit – for example, your privacy preferences or how you use the site. Some cookies are necessary for the site to function, while others are optional and are only installed once you allow them.

2. Categories we use

• Necessary – enable basic site operation (e.g. navigation, security) and remember your cookie choice. These are always installed and cannot be switched off via the banner or settings; this includes our own consent choice, stored locally in your browser (localStorage, key "webresenje-cookie-consent"), which is not a classic cookie but works on the same principle – without it, you would have to give consent on every visit.
• Analytics – help us understand how visitors use the site (e.g. Google Analytics 4: cookies _ga, _ga_*). Installed exclusively once you allow this category.
• Marketing – used to measure and improve marketing activities. We currently do not use marketing or advertising cookies on the Site; the category is present in the banner in case this becomes relevant in the future – until then it has no effect, even if you allow it.
• Preferences – remember small choices you make on the site (e.g. dismissed messages). Installed exclusively once you allow this category.

3. Consent and changing your choice

On your first visit to the Site, a banner appears where you can choose between "Accept all", "Reject all", or "Customize" (to choose by individual category). No option is pre-selected by default and all are equally visible – acceptance is not a condition for using the Site.

Technically, this is enforced via Google Consent Mode v2: until you choose, analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization are set to "denied" by default. Only once you allow the relevant category are these signals updated to "granted" and the corresponding script loaded.

You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page – this opens the same customization window, without needing a separate subpage.

4. Third-party cookies and scripts

• Google Analytics 4 (Analytics category) – installs the _ga and _ga_* cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions. Data is processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google Fonts – the "Space Grotesk" and "Inter" typefaces are loaded directly from Google's servers as part of loading the page, not via a cookie, so they are not tied to your banner choice. Details in our Privacy Policy.

5. How long we keep your choice

Your consent choice is stored locally in your browser until you change it or clear your browser data. Google Analytics cookies (when allowed) have their own validity period set by Google (typically up to 2 years for _ga).
